![]() SIZE - "Camp" is a bit of a misnomer, as Alpha Camp serves in size and function closer to the likes of a small town. The camp stretches a 10 mile diameter, enclosed by a perimeter fence and divided into five sectors for ease of navigation. ● SECTORS - The camp is divided into five sectors for ease of navigation. The sectors run North to South with another sector located in the very center. (More information about sectors is found below.) ● SECURITY - Alpha Camp is outfitted with a redundant security system:

Alpha Camp, as mentioned already, is divided into five sectors. ● SECTORS NORTH AND SOUTH - These are the housing sectors where all residents of Alpha Camp reside. There are 20 "trailers" located within each sector - 10 for newcomers and 10 for military personnel. The civilian trailers are separate from the military ones. Every two trailers, a snack cart can be found where vendor sells ala carte snack items and non-alcoholic beverages. ● SECTOR EAST - The agriculture and food sector. This is where food is grown and served within Alpha Camp.
● SECTOR WEST - The entertainment and health sector. This is where all leisure activities are held as well as where you'll go for treatment of any injury/illness.
● ZERO SECTOR - This sector houses all maintenance and weaponry systems.

● WIRELESS INTRANET - The laptops characters are outfitted with are all connected via a wireless intranet system set up within the camp. The servers are located in the tech trailer in Zero Sector. The wireless extends 100 yards beyond the camp perimeter, but any further and the laptops and phones won't be able to pick up the signal. ● PHONE TOWER - The smartphones all characters are given work thanks to the tower that has been erected in the center of the camp. The tower provides a signal in a 5 mile radius of the camp - they won't work beyond that point. ● SECURITY IDS - Upon arrival, characters are subjected to having a photograph taken and they are given an ID. The IDs must be swiped in order to get inside any building within the camp and they're also necessary to leave and re-enter the camp perimeter. They're similar in shape and look to a college ID, bearing the character's name and photograph. ● GPS - All laptops, smartphones, and security IDs are fitted with GPS microchips. They can be remotely activated when a character has gone missing or when an ID, laptop, or phone has gone missing or is stolen. There is a tower in the center of the camp that helps triangulate the GPS signal. |
